Measuring Kingdom Progress

What are your thoughts and feelings about how you can tell when a congregation is moving in the direction of its full kingdom potential? What are the road signs along the way that help you know you are making progress? How is this measured? How can Kingdom progress best be measured in your congregation?

Do you measure statistics or indicators? Do you measure outputs or impacts? What does the future story of your congregation suggest that you ought to measure?

Are your measuring short-term fixes or long-term solutions? Are you measuring program success, or long-term behavioral changes in the Christ-like nature of people, your congregation, and the community of people you serve? Are you declaring victory too fast? Or, are you patient to see what long-term spiritual and strategic transformation will occur?

A Spiritual Strategic Journey establishes a dynamic strategic framework with enough infrastructure and details to point people, a congregation, a denomination, or a parachurch organization in an effective direction. It frees a movement of people from its current location and empowers it to soar in the direction toward which God is pulling it.
